 Hey ShowTwirler Fam! For those that are joining us for the first time, welcome to our crazy, determined, loving baton family. We are so glad you are here! For those that are returning... welcome home. Sometimes a few weeks/months off remind us just how special this tribe is. If you were not following along on our Facebook Page or the IBTF Website, The ShowTwirlers made a splash at the 2023 IBTF Nations Cup + World Championship. They represented our twirling fam and the United States with pride. We took some time to rest, recharge and reset our goals for the year ahead, but now it's time to get to work! Before we do that, a great big thank you is owed to our Booster Club who made our summer adventures possible. If you are interested in joining our Booster Club, now is the time to get involved! A thank you is also owed to Lisa Stahlman for the many updates she has been making to our website. Check out some of the links below! Our first in-person weekend will be Sept. 23 + 24 in Altoona, PA. Note there is flexibility this first weekend for out-of-state team members as we will be focusing on skill development, goal setting and expectations for the year ahead.
Note: Typically, Intro athletes will only come for 2 hours of our 4 hour practice. Since we are meeting for 3 hours, they will join us from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 24 (CSA).
This year, our competition information has a home on the website and will be updated regularly... more to come on that at our parent/athlete Fall Kick Off Meeting!
- Saturday, Sept. 23 | 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Lessons at Competitive Sports Academy.
- Note: Some fun classes will also be offered! Only 3 lessons per athlete until Thursday, Sept. 21 at 5 p.m. After this time, all lessons are fair game!
- Classes do not count towards your 3 lessons.
- Sunday, Sept. 24 | 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Lessons, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Team (CSA).
- Sunday, Sept. 24 | 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. - Team Practice / Skill Building (All Teams, CSA).
- 3:00 p.m. - Fall Kick Off Meeting/Celebration (CSA). Parents included!
