Hey ShowTwirler Family -

Hope you all are doing well. Time feels like it is absolutely flying by. Hard to believe we are in NOVEMBER already!

A few important reminders as we get deeper in the Fall (and the crazy!).

Don't cancel too late - Canceling with less than 24 hours notice is considered a late cancel and will be charged.
Payment due at lesson time - Please only take lessons that can be paid for at the time of lesson.
No Drama (fo yo Mama!) - We are a TEAM so at no point will special treatment, favoritism, gossip or drama be tolerated. We do not work that way and we choose not to allow that in our gym for many reasons, but most important to cultivate a healthy, happy, motivating environment for our athletes.
Come prepared - Respect the Staff's time and come prepared. Please be sure you know content given to you at the last lesson before the start of lesson. Time is precious and we want to continue to move forward!
Last 5 minute rule - Parents are only permitted in lessons the last 5 minutes to film. Presence in our lessons hinders focus on our most prized aspect... our athletes!
3 Until Thursday - Reminder to only take 3 lessons UNTIL others have a chance to sign up on team weekends! Thursday afternoon any available lessons are fair game!
Wait, they have other jobs? Several of our staff members have full time employment above and beyond their work with The ShowTwirlers. Please make every attempt to consider this when reaching out.
We are thankful for... YOU! - We are insanely blessed to have the program we have and the kids we get to work with... truly. These reminders are not targeted, but rather intended to keep us all on the same page as we make our way through the season. We love our people!

Winterfest Parade - Nov. 19

Date: Sunday, November 19
Start Time: 2:00 p.m.; report by 1:30 p.m.
The parade route is pictured here.
The theme for the 2023 season is "Wish Upon A Star". All participants are encouraged to have a holiday theme with costumes, props, decorations, and/or music.
Please text Pam Snyder at (814)248-0219 to confirm participation.
Attire:
- We will be using the headband from last year. Please let Pam Snyder know if you need one.
- There will be a new scarf.
- Black leggings
- Black ShowTwirler jacket

Spirit of Christmas Parade - Dec. 2

Date: Saturday, December 2
Start Time: 1:00 PM; report by 12:30 p.m.
The parade route is 9th Avenue & 17th Street to 12th Avenue to 12th Street to 11th Avenue & 16th Street

TICKETS + TURKEY BOWL FUNDRAISER
On Sunday, Oct. 15, all present team members received 2 letters and an envelope.

The envelope includes 6 tickets that need to be sold and returned (stubs & money) at November's team practice (Nov. 11).
One of the papers explains the Ticket Fundraiser.
The other paper explains the Turkey Bowl Fundraiser we will be doing! More info to come on that!

If anyone wants extra tickets to sell, or if your twirler didn't get any and you would like some, send a text to Angela Champion at (724-454-3499) and she will get them to you

This is a must do class for our "comp" kids!

The two series of classes are running alongside one another.
Series 1 (Tuesdays from 5:30-6PM): Meant to build the CAS foundation from the ground up and get athletes knowledge on both compulsory and movement technique. It covers levels C -> BII.
Series 2 (Thursdays from 5:30-6PM): The second installment is meant to introduce higher levels of CAS, develop complex combinations, body technique, and covers levels A -> Elite.

Join in on Sunday nights with Natalie Weber for a 45-minute virtual stretching class. Cost is $10 paid via venmo @natalie-weber23.

SHOWTWIRLER SALUTE OUR VETERANS PHOTOS - DUE NOV. 7
Each year we honor our service men and women through a post on our social media channels featuring our athletes holding their batons in the salute position. Please send your photos to PJ by Tuesday, Nov. 7 (TODAY) to be included. This takes a moment, but means a tremendous amount to those who have served. Photos can be sent to PJ at (814) 934-7575.
